Come Prepared
What to Wear & Bring
Everything you need to know for a great day at the park is right here. Read the tips below to make sure you're dressed comfortably, bring the essentials, and arrive ready for adventure.
Ready for the Park
What to Wear
Shoes (required)
Closed-toe athletic shoes with good grip are required for ziplining, rock wall climbing, and axe throwing. Sneakers, hiking shoes, and trail runners are great choices. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and any open-toe shoes are not allowed on these activities.
Bottoms
Choose comfortable shorts, leggings, athletic pants, or capris that allow you to move freely. Knee-length shorts or longer styles are often most comfortable since the zipline harness sits around your thighs. Skirts and dresses are not recommended.
Tops
Wear a comfortable fitted shirt or one that can be tucked in. Your harness fits over your shoulders and around your waist, so loose or oversized shirts may shift around and become uncomfortable during ziplining.
Hair
Long hair? Tie it back before you arrive. A ponytail or braid helps keep hair secure and comfortable while wearing a helmet and using the equipment.
Plan Ahead
What to Avoid Wearing
Open-toe shoes
Sandals, flip-flops, slides, and Crocs (even in sport mode) are not permitted on the zipline courses. Closed-toe shoes with good grip are required.
Clothing that may interfere with the harness
Wear clothing that allows the harness to fit securely and comfortably. If you need to wear a skirt, dress, or other clothing that requires additional coverage or accommodation, our team can help you find the best way to participate safely.
Loose jewelry and accessories
Necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, and scarves can interfere with equipment. Leave them at home, in your car, or secure them in a locker during your visit.
Loose-fitting tops
Oversized shirts or loose layers can shift under the harness straps and become uncomfortable. A fitted shirt or one that can be tucked in works best.

What to Bring
ID and Waivers
Please bring a valid photo ID and the credit card used for your reservation. All guests must have a completed waiver before participating. Adults 18 and older complete their own waiver, and minors must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Water
Staying hydrated helps you enjoy your adventure, especially during hot Texas days. Bring a refillable bottle or purchase one at the park. Hydration stations are available on the courses and water breaks are recommended between courses.
Sunscreen
You’ll spend your day outdoors across 13 Acres of Play. Much of the park is shaded by the forest canopy and shade sails or umbrellas, but sunscreen is still a good idea for exposed areas. Bring your own or pick some up at the park.
Bug spray
The park is surrounded by beautiful forest, and we regularly treat the property to help keep mosquitoes and pests under control. Bug spray is optional, but you’re welcome to bring your own or purchase it at the park.
Plan Ahead
Leave These Behind
Loose items in pockets
Phones, keys, wallets, and other loose items are not permitted on the zipline courses. Please secure them in your vehicle or a locker before entering the course. Phone harnesses are available at check-in for guests who want to bring their phone along.
Valuables you don't want to lose
Leave expensive watches, jewelry, sunglasses, and other valuables at home or secured before starting your adventure.
Heavy bags or backpacks
Large bags, fanny packs and backpacks cannot be taken on the courses. Lockers are available at check-in for $5 to store your belongings while you explore the park.

Dressing for Houston Weather
Geronimo is an outdoor adventure park in Spring, TX, so the weather can play a big role in what you wear. Check the forecast before your visit and plan for the conditions so you can stay comfortable while you climb, zip, and explore.
Summer (May–September): Choose lightweight, comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily in the heat and humidity. T-shirts, athletic wear, and breathable fabrics are great options. Apply sunscreen before you arrive, and remember that while the forest canopy provides shade on the courses, some areas of the park are exposed to full sun. Be sure to hydrate before, during, and after your visit.
Winter (November–February): Layers are your best friend. Mornings can feel cool under the tree canopy, but you’ll warm up quickly once you’re moving through the courses. A zip-up jacket or removable layer makes it easy to adjust as temperatures change.
Rain and Storms:
Geronimo monitors weather conditions and pauses operations during lightning. If storms are in the forecast, check the park’s social media channels or call ahead for the latest updates. Light rain typically won’t stop the fun, so come prepared and ready to play.
Ready for an Adventure?
Once you’ve reviewed what to wear and bring, you’re ready to climb, zip, and explore. Gather your group, dress comfortably, and get ready for an unforgettable day at Geronimo.
