Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions?
Do I need any experience to try axe throwing?
None at all. Every session starts with a safety briefing and hands-on instruction from one of our Ax-perts. They will teach you the proper grip, stance, and throwing technique before anyone picks up an axe. First-timers do great, and most guests are sticking it within their first few throws.
Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?
Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are also welcome.
Can I book axe throwing without also booking ziplining?
Yes. Axe throwing at The Range is a completely standalone activity. You do not need to book a zipline pass to throw. You can also add General Admission if you want access to the ground activities before or after your session.
Can I book The Range for a private group or party?
Yes. The Range is available for private group bookings, birthday parties, team events, and corporate outings. For groups of more than 10, contact us directly at 830-365-5867 or email info@geronimozip.com so we can set up the right experience for your group.
Which session length should I choose?
30 minutes is a solid intro for smaller groups or first-timers who want to try it without committing to a longer block. 60 minutes gives your group enough time to get comfortable, run a few game rounds, and really compete. 90 minutes is the best pick for groups that want the full experience, more variety between axes, ninja stars, and throwing knives, and time to run a proper tournament.
