    • Soar through the forest canopy on three progressively challenging zipline courses, all featuring a continuous belay system that keeps participants connected from start to finish.

    Rock Wall Climbing


    • Take on our 24-foot rock wall with four climbing routes designed to challenge a variety of skill levels.

    Axe Throwing


    • Learn the basics of axe throwing at The Range with instruction and supervision from trained staff.

    Ground-Based Activities


    • Keep the adventure going with activities such as the ninja obstacle course, GaGa Ball, lawn games, and scenic walking trails.

    • Are any activities at Geronimo aligned with merit badge or rank advancement requirements?

      Several activities at Geronimo line up with common Scouting achievement areas, including outdoor adventure, teamwork, physical fitness, and target sports. We are not an official merit badge counselor, but troop leaders have used the experience to support badge work in areas like climbing, and first aid readiness. Let us know your troop focus when you book and we will share what fits best.

    • What is the booking process for a Scout troop or pack?

      Call 830-365-5867 or email info@geronimozip.com with your Scout age range, estimated group size, preferred dates, and the activities you are interested in. We will send you a quote and walk you through what a typical Scout group day looks like. We work with the troop leader directly to confirm headcount, waivers, and any add-ons before the visit.

    • Is there a recommended adult-to-youth ratio for Scout groups?

      We follow your organization’s own guidelines for leader-to-youth ratios. For park planning purposes, we recommend having troop adults spread out across the park, especially near the general admission areas, ground games, and any gathering spaces your group is using.


      Our staff supervise ziplining, axe throwing, laser tag, and rock wall climbing, but troop adults help with overall group supervision and keeping the day running smoothly.

    • Are there age or size minimums we should plan around for specific activities?

      Yes. The rock wall is also 6 years old and 45 lb minimum. Scouts who cannot reach overhead heights of 66 inches for the Go Fly course will need an adult assist. Axe, knife, and ninja star throwing at The Range is supervised by Geronimo staff and is available for all Scout participants. The rock wall and ground activities have no formal age or size restrictions. Let us know your Scouts' age range and we will flag anything that needs planning.

    • Can we use park space for troop traditions like a campfire circle, ceremony, or devotional?

      Yes. Gathering space and shaded areas throughout the park are available to your troop throughout the day. We also have fire pits that may be available for select events when weather and setup conditions allow. Let us know your plans when you book so we can make sure the right space is set aside for your group.
