Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions?
How does waiver coordination work for students under 18?
All guests under 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian before entering the park. We will coordinate this ahead of your trip by sending a digital waiver link that can be sent home to parents before the visit. Your school representative will have access to your Group Waiver Management page where you can see what waivers and how many have been completed at any time. Getting waivers done before arrival speeds up check-in and keeps the day on schedule.
Are chaperones required, and is there a chaperone pricing option?
We will provide complimentary General Admission passes for a number of your teacher or administrator chaperones (number depends on your group size).
Can students choose which activities to do, or is there a set schedule?
It depends on the package your school chooses. For full park rentals, students can typically move freely between the activities included in your event. Ziplining will have scheduled gear-up times for 15-25 guests at a time. If you prefer a more structured experience, your school can create an activity rotation schedule, or we're happy to help design one for you. For other group packages, the schedule and activity flow will vary based on the activities you've reserved.
Does Geronimo offer any curriculum connections or learning tie-ins for school groups?
If your trip has specific learning goals or a theme you want woven into the day, let us know when you book and we will share what we can build around it.
How do we start the booking process for a school field trip?
Call 830-365-5867 or email info@geronimozip.com with your school name, grade level, estimated group size, and the dates you are considering. We will confirm availability, walk you through what a typical school trip day looks like, and send you a quote with group pricing.
