Prepared for Every Adventure

Every adventure begins with preparation. From the equipment we select and maintain to the way we train our team and support our guests, we take a thoughtful approach to managing risk and creating an experience where you can challenge yourself with confidence.

The Belay System

Connected from Start to Finish

One of the ways we thoughtfully manage risk at Geronimo is through our continuous belay system. Unlike traditional "lobster claw" systems that require guests to manually clip and unclip as they move through the course, our C7 continuous belay system keeps you connected from the moment you begin until your feet are back on the ground.

Once connected, guests can move through ziplines, bridges, and challenge elements without disconnecting along the way—allowing them to focus on the adventure, the challenge, and the memories they’re creating.

Equipment and Preparation

Quality Equipment. Thoroughly Maintained.

Great adventures start with equipment you can trust. At Geronimo Adventure Park, we carefully select our gear, partner with trusted industry manufacturers, and follow detailed inspection and maintenance practices to keep our equipment ready for every adventure.

Our aerial courses and equipment are maintained in accordance with standards established by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). As an active ACCT member, we stay connected with industry practices and continue to refine the way we operate.

Every element of our park—from courses and hardware to personal protective equipment like harnesses, tethers, helmets, gloves, and other gear—is inspected regularly by our trained team, with additional annual inspections performed by certified third-party professionals.

For our aerial adventures, our continuous belay system helps keep guests connected throughout the course, while required protective equipment such as helmets and gloves helps address common challenges of outdoor adventure activities.

Thoughtful preparation happens before every guest arrives, so you can focus on the challenge, the excitement, and the memories you're creating.

Our Team and Training

Prepared People. Thoughtful Support.

Great experiences are created by great teams. Our staff members go through thorough training to learn our operations, guest support practices, and the skills needed to help create a positive experience throughout the park.

From adventure activities and guest interactions to daily operations behind the scenes, our team is continually learning, practicing, and preparing. We regularly review our procedures, assess potential challenges, and provide ongoing training to help our staff stay ready to support guests and each other.

Because adventure is about more than the activity itself—it’s about having a team that helps you feel welcomed, encouraged, and prepared for the experience ahead.

Here to help

First Aid

Most days are filled with smiles, high-fives, and adventure. But if you need a Band-Aid, a little assistance, or something more, our trained team is ready to help.

Staff certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED use are always on site during operating hours, with first aid supplies readily available at the Welcome Center.

Guest Preparation

Guest Training, Support, and Confidence

At Geronimo Adventure Park, you're not just along for the ride—you're part of the adventure. Our aerial experiences are designed to be self-guided, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace while our trained team remains nearby to coach, encourage, and assist whenever needed.

Before heading into the trees, every guest is fitted with the appropriate equipment, receives a thorough gear check, and completes our Ground School. You'll learn how your equipment works, practice using it at ground level, and have the opportunity to ask questions before beginning your adventure.

We also believe in challenge by choice. Whether you're eager to tackle every obstacle or prefer to take things one step at a time, our team is here to encourage you—not pressure you. The goal isn't to complete every element; it's to leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.

Throwing Experiences

Throw with Confidence

Our axe, Ninja star and knife throwing experiences are designed for both first-time throwers and seasoned competitors. The throwing ranges were built in accordance with World Axe Throwing League (WATL) standards and include thoughtfully designed features that help support an enjoyable experience.

Every throwing session begins with instruction from one of our trained hosts—our Ax-perts. They'll demonstrate proper technique, explain range etiquette, review throwing guidelines, and help you build confidence before you ever take your first throw.

Once you're ready, your Ax-pert can coach your technique, facilitate friendly competitions and games, or step back and let experienced throwers enjoy the range at their own pace.

We'll See You in the Trees

Every adventure begins with preparation but the best part is what happens next. We can't wait to welcome you, cheer you on, and help you create memories you'll be talking about long after your feet are back on the ground.
